Following the first Lunch & Learn session, staff curiosity regarding process maps continues to grow. The Department has therefore commenced a small trial to explore consistency through process-based communication. Initial observations suggest that learning is occurring enthusiastically under current operating conditions.

The most common question has been: Why process maps? Recent observations suggest that many of the concepts explored by the Department are not isolated events. They are processes.

Following a period of stabilisation, the Department has entered the next phase. Work continues. Conditions remain variable. What has changed is how responsibility is understood. Not everything that is visible requires action. Not everything that is requested requires ownership.
