🌱 Onboarding Note | Maybe I Could

Subject: Emerging Capability

Sometimes an opportunity appears and our first response is:

I don’t think I can do that.

So we learn.
We practise.
We ask questions.
We discover gaps, make mistakes, understand a little more, and occasionally wonder whether we know anything at all.

Then, somewhere along the way, something changes.

The opportunity still looks challenging.
There are still things we don’t know.
But the automatic I can’t becomes slightly less certain.

A different thought appears:

Maybe I could.

Not:

I definitely can.

Not:

I’m completely ready.

Just:

Maybe I could.

The Office considers this a meaningful development.

Confidence does not always arrive as certainty.

Sometimes it arrives quietly, as a willingness to stop ruling ourselves out before we have even tried.

Capability: Developing.
Certainty: Not required.
Possibility: Open.

Onboarding will continue.
