⚖️ Body Bulletin | The Scale Has Not Received the Memo

From: Office of Body Relations
To: All Staff
Subject: Weight Management — Preliminary Status

The Office has reviewed recent weight-management activities.

Current interventions include regular walking and the introduction of strength training.

Effort is being recorded.

Muscles have lodged several complaints.

The bathroom scale, however, remains largely unmoved.

This is disappointing.

Weight reduction is an intended outcome, and the Office sees no reason to pretend otherwise.

However, one unchanged measure does not mean nothing is changing.

The body is walking.

It is lifting.

It is recovering.

It is becoming accustomed to doing things it was not doing before.

Whether the current approach will produce the desired weight outcome remains under observation. More time may be required. Something may eventually need to change.

For now, the Office finds insufficient evidence to classify the initiative as unsuccessful.

Status: Work in progress.
Scale: Under active monitoring.
Muscles: Surprisingly opinionated.

Filed without premature conclusions,
Office of Body Relations

“One measure is data. It is not the whole body.”
