Subject: Process Mapping Trial β€” Emotional Recovery

Following recent Department interest in process mapping, the Office of Emotional Wellbeing has elected to participate in the Consistency trial.

Several potential processes were reviewed.

The Office selected a process that appears frequently across a range of operating conditions.

The process is recovering from a difficult day.

The initial artefact is provided below.

Emotional Recovery Process v1.0

Trigger:
A difficult interaction, disappointment, setback, or unexpectedly complicated Tuesday.

↓

Notice emotional response

↓

Pause

↓

Feelings settled?

No
β†’ Allow additional time
β†’ Engage in supportive activity
β†’ Reassess

Yes
↓

Resume normal activities

↓

END

Observations

The Office notes that recovery times vary between individuals.

Attempts to rush the process were generally unsuccessful.

The process appears to function more effectively when patience is applied.

Recommendation

Allow emotional responses sufficient time to complete their natural operating cycle.

Not every difficult day requires immediate resolution.
