Following recent Department-wide discussions regarding ownership and boundaries, several informal observations have been reported. Additional observations indicate that some staff appear mildly surprised by the amount of mental space available after discontinuing responsibility for matters outside their operational control. One employee reportedly described the experience as: “Unexpectedly quiet.”
