Subject: End-of-Year Address & Annual Closure Announcement
Memo
Colleagues,
As we gather for the final time this year, I want to pause — not to measure performance, but to honour presence.
Every Office, every person, every quiet effort has shaped the Department of Self Love into what it is today: a workplace that remembers the human beneath the role.
This year, you refined the way care and excellence coexist.
- Body Relations rebuilt stamina with gentleness and turned movement into daily gratitude.
- Emotional Wellbeing redefined calm as collective culture.
- Productivity & Purpose proved that sustainable progress is still progress.
- Self Discovery showed us that progress begins with awareness, and that reflection is the quiet engine of change.
- Onboarding taught us that every beginning deserves kindness (and introduced us to Lily, who’s still winning hearts and tea breaks).
- Compliance & Integrity held the line with compassion, proving that truth, even when quiet, can guide an entire organisation.
- Unofficial Channels reminded us that the strongest connections often happen between the lines.
- And Nourishment & Energy — through colour, warmth, and balance — reminded us that joy itself is fuel.
Together, you turned ideals into infrastructure, policies into principles, and moments into meaning.
For that, I thank you.
🕊️ Official Closure Announcement
In accordance with departmental wellbeing policy, the Department of Self Love will close from Monday, 22 December 2025 through Friday, 16 January 2026.
All offices — official and unofficial — will be on collective rest during this period. No memos, no meetings, no metrics.
Just restoration, reflection, and the gentle reminder that rest nourishes everything it touches.
Staff are encouraged to log joy, quiet, and replenishment in their own ways — whether through laughter, solitude, or a few extra hours of sleep.
We will reconvene on Monday, 19 January 2026, renewed, rested, and ready to begin again.
To every member of this Department: thank you for your integrity, your humour, your courage, and your heart.
You have made this year not just productive, but meaningful.
Take your rest with pride — you have earned it.
With gratitude and steady calm,
The Director
Department of Self Love
“Rest nourishes what work cannot.”
