🍽️ Surveillance Report – SD’s Lunch Habits

Date: 16 October 2025
From: Office of Nourishment & Energy
To: All Staff, Department of Self Love
Subject: Self Discovery’s Lunch Habits, Observed in the Wild

Observation

At 12:12 p.m., Nourishment & Energy (N&E) entered Self Discovery’s (SD) space for a routine surveillance. Here is what we found:

  • Observed intake:
    • 1 open journal, pages filled with reflective questions.
    • 2 mugs of tea, untouched until the ink dried.
    • No plate, no protein.
  • Behaviours:
    • Staff asking themselves: “Am I truly hungry, or just searching for meaning?”
    • Lunch postponed until a metaphor arrived.
    • Dinner observed at 10:43 p.m.: a large bowl of cereal.

Field Notes

  • “Postcards ≠ protein.”
  • “Feelings deserve fuel too.”
  • “Curiosity is noble, but hunger is not homework.”

Directive

  • Anchor lunch most days with real food.
  • Curiosity can still guide — but the answer must end with nourishment, not cereal at midnight.

Reflection

Self-love is listening inward — and then answering with kindness on the plate, not just on the page.

Respectfully submitted,
Office of Nourishment & Energy
“Because prompts don’t replace protein.”
