Subject: Self Discovery’s Lunch Habits, Observed in the Wild
Observation
At 12:12 p.m., Nourishment & Energy (N&E) entered Self Discovery’s (SD) space for a routine surveillance. Here is what we found:
- Observed intake:
- 1 open journal, pages filled with reflective questions.
- 2 mugs of tea, untouched until the ink dried.
- No plate, no protein.
- Behaviours:
- Staff asking themselves: “Am I truly hungry, or just searching for meaning?”
- Lunch postponed until a metaphor arrived.
- Dinner observed at 10:43 p.m.: a large bowl of cereal.
Field Notes
- “Postcards ≠ protein.”
- “Feelings deserve fuel too.”
- “Curiosity is noble, but hunger is not homework.”
Directive
- Anchor lunch most days with real food.
- Curiosity can still guide — but the answer must end with nourishment, not cereal at midnight.
Reflection
Self-love is listening inward — and then answering with kindness on the plate, not just on the page.
Respectfully submitted,
Office of Nourishment & Energy
“Because prompts don’t replace protein.”
