Subject: Lunch Surveillance Report | Body Relations
Memo
Scope. At 12:20 p.m., Nourishment conducted a standard lunch surveillance on Body Relations to assess fuel quality and timing.
Findings.
- Meal substitution: Protein bars replacing complete meals on training days.
- Hydration gap: Empty bottles, low refill frequency observed.
- Timing drift: Eating mid-stretch between tasks; no protected lunch block.
- Colour deficit: Limited plant diversity; low “rainbow compliance.”
- Morale note: Chocolate present (approved) but functioning as meal replacement (not approved).
Impact Assessment.
- Afternoon energy variability and focus dips increase when meals are incomplete.
- Hydration shortfalls correlate with tension and reduced movement quality.
- Inconsistent lunch timing undermines recovery and mood stability.
Recommendations (effective immediately).
- Plate, not bar (3×/week minimum): Replace bars with simple plates (protein + colour + carb).
- Hydration baseline: 250 ml each hour from 9:00–17:00; coffee for morale, not metrics.
- Protected lunch block: 25–30 minutes away from the workstation; laptops closed.
- Rainbow compliance: Aim for three colours per meal (see Self Love Rainbow guidance).
- Chocolate policy: Keep as morale booster; not a primary fuel source.
- Pantry restock: Yoghurt, eggs, fruit, pre-washed greens, tinned fish, sourdough.
With warmth and standards,
