Date: 8 September 2025
From: The Director
To: All Staff, Department of Self Love
Subject: All-Departments Meeting — September Review
Summary
Today marked the Department’s second all-hands meeting. It was also my first gathering since returning from Me Time, and I am pleased to confirm: the Department remains in excellent form.
The Offices reported with clarity, cohesion, and consistency. Each demonstrated not only diligence but creativity in applying the principles of self-love to their work. The Department as a whole is operating with greater steadiness, deeper vision, and renewed energy.
Highlights
- Emotional Wellbeing emphasised honesty as the foundation of resilience. Naming feelings remains the first step toward progress.
- Self Discovery reminded us of the long horizon. Legacy thinking continues to anchor daily work.
- Productivity & Purpose showcased the power of accountability — reliability is our shared standard.
- Compliance & Integrity presented audit findings with precision (and perhaps a little flair). Integrity remains our non-negotiable core.
- Body Relations confirmed recovery milestones and reinforced rest as wisdom, not weakness.
- Nourishment & Energy balanced nourishment with joy — because fuel must include delight.
- Onboarding reinforced patience in beginnings, ensuring that every new practice finds its place.
Next Steps
- Embed 静 (jìng) into practice. Departments are encouraged to seek stillness as strength — pauses that clarify, not delays that weaken.
- Formalise rest as a metric. Productivity is inseparable from recovery. Logging downtime will become part of our shared rhythm.
- Celebrate progress aloud. Modesty is valued, but recognition fuels others. Departments are to report victories with volume as well as substance.
- Prepare for external reporting. Our internal culture is strong; it is time to consider how the Department models self-love beyond its own walls.
Closing Note
The Department has proven its ability to thrive in my absence, and to flourish upon my return. Let this record stand: we are steady, we are growing, and we are ready for the next horizon.
For at the heart of this work lies a simple truth:
Self-love is the courage to become your highest, truest self — in this one precious lifetime.
✨ A reminder for today, and always.
Sincerely,
The Director
“Steady in purpose, united in direction.”
