Yesterday was a good day for the body. Family day was filled with laughter, good food, and even dessert — all enjoyed without discomfort or fatigue.
After a few days of cautious trial runs, the rebounder is officially part of our daily movement plan. Yesterday’s session was longer than expected — 20–30 minutes instead of the recommended 10 — and the result was noticeable. Last night’s sleep was deep, unbroken, and restorative. We woke refreshed, a state we haven’t felt in far too long. Perhaps Burnout has truly been escorted off the premises.
This morning’s park visit was medicine in itself. With the foot still tender, we chose the bench over a walk, letting the sunlight deliver our vitamin D. From that sunny spot, we watched a yoga class move in quiet synchrony, and people strolling by, chatting cheerfully on a Monday morning.
On the way home, we carried fresh groceries — organic meat, vegetables, fruits, eggs, herbs — ready to fuel the week ahead. There’s genuine joy in knowing the body will be nourished well, and in seeing the happy faces of those we cook for.
This is simplicity. This is life.
We are grateful for this pause, and for the choice to see each day through a lens of gratitude and possibility.
Sincerely,
Office of Body Relations
