Memo
The Office of Onboarding concludes 2025 with a successful first-year operation marked by curiosity, courage, and a significant increase in hallway smiles.
This year, our mission was simple: help every new idea — and every returning staff member — feel at home. From day-one introductions to full-scale habit integration, we worked to ensure that beginnings remained soft, steady, and sustainable.
Key Milestones:
- Orientation Memo established the Department’s foundation as both workplace and sanctuary.
- Integration of New Habit: Sunday Reset formalised weekly recovery as part of the onboarding process.
- Launch of Lily, our Onboarding Mascot, created a relatable guide for navigating the early challenges of self-love.
- “What Should Lily Do?” Training Simulations improved decision-making under emotional pressure and boosted confidence in new recruits.
- Me Day Documentation Directive encouraged all staff to record moments of rest and reflection for future learning.
Highlights:
- Staff adaptation rates improved by 45% following Lily’s introduction.
- Early resistance to rest initiatives decreased across departments.
- The culture of “starting where you are” gained full organisational adoption.
2026 Outlook:
The Office will expand the Lily Simulation Series, enhance peer-mentorship opportunities, and introduce the Re-Onboarding Program — designed for returning staff or habits in need of gentle re-entry.
To everyone who joined, rejoined, or simply stayed — thank you. Beginnings are never easy, but this year, you made them beautiful.
With gratitude and welcome,
Office of Onboarding
Department of Self Love
