📆Director’s Memo: First All-Hands on Deck 🧭🧠

From: Office of the Director of Self Love
To: All Department Heads
Subject: 📢 One-Month Departmental Review: Meeting This Friday
Date: 4 August 2025
Classification: Level 1 – Strategic Milestone

Dear Team,

As of this week, the Department of Self Love will reach its one-month anniversary since officially opening on 8 July 2025. While still in its early days, this department has shown promising signs of creativity, commitment, and occasional existential spirals.

To celebrate our first month of operation – and to evaluate how we’ve truly been doing – I am officially calling for an All-Departments Review Meeting to be held this Friday, 8 August 2025.

Meeting Objectives:

  • ✅ Review activities and posts submitted in the past month
  • ✅ Identify departmental highlights and lowlights
  • ✅ Surface what worked, what didn’t, and what surprised us
  • ✅ Recommend gentle improvements for Month Two

I am asking each department to submit a brief report before the meeting. Reports may include:

  • A summary of departmental focus areas
  • Noteworthy moments or emotional breakthroughs
  • Difficulties, delays, or downtime
  • Ideas for growth, clarity, or new initiatives

All formats welcome – formal memos, casual updates, or whatever weird PowerPoint metaphor the Office of Emotional Wellbeing is working on.

Submission Schedule:

To avoid internal bottlenecks and turf wars, departments will submit their reports in a staggered fashion:

  • Tuesday: Emotional Wellbeing & Self Discovery
  • Wednesday: Productivity & Purpose, Onboarding
  • Thursday: Nourishment & Energy, Body Relations
  • Friday: Director’s Debrief & All-Departments Review Summary

This is not a performance review. It’s a compassionate milestone.
We are building something that values honesty over hustle, delight over metrics, and presence over perfection. Let’s learn from the first month together – and let our audience grow with us, too.

Sincerely,
The Director of Self Love
Still onboarding myself daily, but very much here for the long haul.
