This weekend was quieter than usual, but rich in lessons.
I celebrated a strong academic achievement. I felt proud – and I let myself feel it. 🎓✨
I moved slower, partly because of foot pain, and partly because something deeper told me to pause.
Instead of fighting the slowness, I listened. I noticed how I still carry the habit of rushing – even when there’s no deadline looming. I multitask out of muscle memory. I try to do everything at once, and end up missing the moment I’m in.
There’s healing happening – not just to my foot, but to the pace of my life. I can’t expect to walk and fly at the same time. 🦶🕊️
There’s unlearning to do. And learning, too – like recognising a “luxury problem” when it tries to derail my day.
I’m still impatient at times. Still tempted to do more than necessary. But I’m learning to recognise that urge… and sometimes, even smile at it.
And that, I think, makes me a 0.1 better version of myself. 🌱💡
Warmly,
Director of Self Love
Learning to rest, not rush. Walking slowly, growing steadily.
