πŸ“ Internal Memo: A Bench, a Book, and a Blue Sky

Date: 31 July 2025

Subject: Celebration in Stillness

Today was celebration day – soft, small, and delicious. A little indulgence to honour the news I received yesterday: I passed, with a High Distinction. A chapter closed. A quiet victory logged.

Everything felt a little lighter. Gratitude settled in early and stayed. I went to the park, sat on a bench with my book, and simply let the world move around me. It was freezing cold, but the sun was out and the sky was impossibly blue. I watched people pass by – some walking briskly, others slowly – and I wondered when my foot would heal enough for me to walk like that again. Then I heard a quieter thought whisper: Take your time. What’s meant to happen, will. Accept it fully.

Lunch was a quiet celebration. A warm bowl of seafood noodles. A soft chocolate bun for dessert. Simple, grounding, just right.

Tonight, I’m making a wholesome, nourishing dinner for my family. It feels good to care – not out of duty, but out of love. I am grateful for everything I have.

Signed with soft celebration,
Director of Self Love
(Sun-kissed. Bun-fed. Grateful.)

P.S. HR notes that all victories, even small ones, qualify for dessert.
